Welcome to the Central Victorian Irish Association website.
The Central Victorian Irish Association (CVIA) was established in 2012 to promote Irish/Australian Culture and Heritage and to establish a local Irish community in the Central Victorian region of Australia and in particular, Bendigo and the Macedon Ranges.
Since our inaugural general meeting in July 2012, the CVIA has made a name for itself hosting concerts and events to commemorate Ireland and its relations with Australia. This includes our annual St Patrick’s Weekend concerts, our tribute to Brian Boru and most recently our commemoration to the thousands of Irish men and women who gave up their lives during the Great War fighting for the Australian Defense Forces.
In 2015 we aim to organise and establish an annual Family Fun Day in Bendigo during the St Patrick’s weekend.
New members are always welcome to the association. Membership forms and more information is available via the Membership page.
